THE BIG HEAT

             Released 1953 | 89 minutes | Not rated
Directed by Fritz Lang w/Edward G. Robinson, Joan Bennett, Dan Duryea.Film website

Although Lang never made one of his paranoiac Mabuse films in the United States, he imported a healthy portion of his obsession with conspiracy in this gritty drama. After finding that a fellow officer’s supposed suicide isn’t what it seams, crusading cop Dan Bannion (Ford) finds himself on the wrong side of an all-powerful syndicate.
