In 1927 Louisiana, an artist is murdered at the Seven Doors Hotel because he is suspected of being a warlock. His murder opens one of the seven doors of death, which allow the dead to cross into the world of the living. Several decades later, a woman from NYC inherits the hotel and plans to re-open it. Italian horror master Lucio Fulci directs this gore-filled masterpiece, considered by many to be his best film.
